The “Radiance” emanates from all things, yet it is from only one source.

It is immediately malleable and responsive, yet always unyielding.

It is always seen but few recognize it.

It is all that is within and all that is without.

To begin to see the “Radiance” one must be devoted, yet one must allow the devotion of the “Radiance”.

The “Radiance” is love, even when it burns.

In the greatest darkness the “Radiance” is revealed as the brightest of lights.

It consumes all but is never consumed.

It is the flower from which all fragrance flows yet it is the absence of fragrance.

It is the beginning seed of all birth yet the end of all death.

It is the soil in which all are planted.

It is the ocean of all rain.

It is at once the void and the essence.

It is the unity of duality and the division of the one.

It is you and it is I yet it is neither.

Here is a parable that may help.

There was a sage of great renown. Many wise men traveled from far and wide to seek his council.

One day a young man came to the sage and proclaimed, “I seek the truth! Can you tell me what it is?”

The sage beckoned the young man to follow him as he walked out to the gardens next to a pool. There he told the young man to kneel and dunk his head in the water.

The young man objected. The sage turned and began to walk away.

The young man protested, “But you did not tell me what I came to hear.”

“I spoke, but you did not listen” replied the sage.

The young man said “I will do as you say” and he immersed his head in the pool.

The sage then grabbed the young man by the nape of the neck and pushed him further into the water. After a few seconds the young man began to try to lift his head out of the pool but the sage held him there firmly. The young seeker began to struggle, still the sage held him there.

After what seemed an eternity to the young man (but in “reality”, was only a few seconds), the sage relented and allowed the young man to come up out of the water.

Gasping, sputtering and wide eyed the young man asked “Why did you do that?”

Seeing the fear in the eyes of the young seeker the sage asked, “How bad did you want to come up out of the water?”

“Worse then anything ever, I thought I was going to die”

Gently embracing the young seeker the sage but whispered, “When your desire for the truth matches your desire to come up out of the water, come to me and I will teach you.”

To realize the “Radiance” there must be hunger.

To realize the “Radiance” there must be surrender.

To realize the “Radiance” there must be devotion.

To realize the “Radiance” there must be love.

When the seeker is ready it will call to you.

Blessings and peace to all,
All in all,
Nony

The body is the vehicle, what does the body carry, well the body is full of light or radiance. Most people are to full of concepts to feel thus knowing the bodies radiance. If a person is ready and open threw other spiritual practices Tantra can bring this radiance out very quickly and powerfully. : )

I am in full agreement with the answer of KrishanRam(Jitendra k), in terms of spirituality. I won't hesitate to say that I am fan of Jitendra.

I would like to add something.
Dictionary meaning of Radiance:

i) Physics The radiant energy emitted per unit time in a specified direction by a unit area of an emitting surface.

ii) Exceptional brightness and clarity

iii) the quality of being bright and sending out rays of light.

............. If we can understand the word radiance in the light of spirituality, the radiance would be glare and reflexion of inner power in the form of visible light-circle....

Question: How can I put 'radiance' into the box of my conceptual understanding?

Answer: YOU can't.

Perhaps a poem can say it more clear:

Wavy blue cosmos
stars observing other stars
sounds pass right through me.

Right here the time doesn't pass
existence fills up senses.

First anything that is " a location " in time and space is in constant change an illusion if you will. The essence/ inner- self is NOT IN ANY LOCATION. An idea is something that does not exist it just "IS". When we say "going within" is a phenomena that is out side any time or space. It is in the realm of the infinite and the undefinable It is the essence of an "actual reality" that can neither be destroyed nor created. Consciousness is only a medium that allows us ( in our physical form to experience "within" Take care, Hector

It's not an organized group...it could be a mystical, spiritual or metaphysical term referring to the inner light of your being...of every living being. It implies to me that we are all radiant beings...sharing radiance with each other through our awareness of the oneness of all things.

Sirius, it is just as Krishan Ram puts it........it is the radiance of pure soul energy (and may be known as the intense and overwhelming feeling of universal / divine love / god connection etc) flowing through us, and from us, into and through all space and time (through all realms), so pure and infinite it is. One may be able to "see" it and feel (perceive) it course through one's self, and through others. It is unmistakable by its presence. It is also called light / divine light / a halo etc
