New Home "prewired". Unable to get sound with TV!!
*Cables Terminate on opposite wall of TV (about 20' apart).
*I have successfully connected my TV with component cables (prewired) to my Dish Network Receiver.
*Unable to get any sound to coordinate with my TV.
*Trying to integrate audio receiver/DVD/CD home theater setup. I am able to produce sound from speakers, but only when using the radio/CD player (can never get the TV to work with the speakers).

I have tried plugging an HDMI cable into the audio receiver and the dish receiver, but that obviously did not work... Will I have to fish more cable? suggestions? Please help!!

Why don't you call your real-estate agent or the previous owner and try to get some help with the existing wiring?
Was the wiring done by the last owner himself or by professionals? If by professionals, they may have a wiring diagram and they can provide some help.

Even your local office for building permits may have a copy of the house's wiring - if it ever passed inspection.
Without physically seeing your setup it is very hard to judge what is going on.

Since you use an AV receiver, connect digital audio out from the Dish receiver to the digital audio in of your AVR.

I highly recommend you go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on all products for you home theater. I have personally used Panasonic projectors for well over 7 years and never had one issue. It is only used for watching a Blu Ray disc movie or a DVD. I also have a Panasonic 65", 58" and 50" Plasma and a 37" LCD. A first generation Panasonic blu ray disc player model BD-10 which is over 6 years old and played over 330 blu ray movies and never had an issue. Have up graded to an OPPO 93 blu ray disc player last year. Home theater is by Krell showcase processor and Cinema Pro power amplifier (6 channel) and an old Onkyo M504 power amplifier, with Martin Logan speakers all around with an Energy 18" subwoofer. Other receivers used are Pioneer Elite and Onkyo, with energy, Klipsch, Infinity, and JBL speaker. I have used Home Theater Magazine as a guide to purchase my home theater devices since the mid 80's. Hope this will help you out.
