i am 7 mos out of back surgery for rupture at L4 L5...the pain im having is a result of lots of scar tissue wrapping around the nerve root as well as other places in the leg that was most affected. Is there anything i can do to get rid of scar tissue or at least significantly lessen its effects on me?

This definitely sounds like something you should ask your doctor. You don't want to make it worse if you get bad information on here.

I had the same thing, eight times. I had to have surgery due to scar tissue.

You'll have to talk to your doctor about this. Some people are more susceptible then others about this.

You should seek the advice from a physiotherapist. Physiotherapists are excellent for aiding in this problem. Some of the machines can help with taking down some of the inflammation and scar tissue. You need to build up your knees so that this problem doesn't occur again. The more and more it happens, the more likely it will turn into arthritis.
