basically I want to go to some cool event. I've gotten to the point where I'm watching the travel channel like it's porn but I only get so much money a month. which is to say very little.

Mardi Gras in New Orleans would be rememberable. What are you into? There are many events and/or vacations based around common interests like music, animal conservation, sports, etc. Maybe select a conference to attend near Georgia. Search those interests out on the internet and I'm sure you can find something that is resonable and peaks your interest. Or you can go on a mission - like hit all the Irish bars in a state or see all the state landmarks. It's fun and focuses your efforts.

why not go to florida for spring break? you're close enough that you can drive which is cheaper than flying. or you can go to mardi gras in new orleans, tho you may not have enough time to save up any money for it.. it's february 5th i think. or you can start saving now and go to new years in time square next december.
