Your thoughts hit most of us at some stage in our lives. We suddenly come to the realisation that each and everyone of us have a limited span on this earth because we are all going to die. 13 is a very normal age to be facing this. You are totally normal and you can use this time as a way of making some positive plans forward but even more importantly enjoying every day you have.

Take care

My Senior year in high school..I spent the whole year thinking I was going to die. I had a sore that wouldn't heal. We had just studied about cancer being a sore that doesn't heal. I wouldn't tell anybody. Finally..I MADE myself tell and went to the dr. It WASN'T cancer. Don't ruin your high school years because of things that won't even happen.

Yes, the future can be scary! I always like to project into the future. I wonder what will I be doing in one years time. I have lived in three countries around the world. What is next? It's exciting to see a future ahead! You have alot of living to do so enjoy the trip! Take a friend! God!

Yes, you are normal. I remember being thirteen and freaking out because I thought at any moment I was going to blow up. I know, it sounds weird, but those were weird times for me.

Just when you think you've figured it all out then you turn 13 and nothing makes sense. Hang in there. You'll feel better. Just because you are left handed doesn't make you weird. You don't have to die just because you feel like you are going to. Trust your other feelings and "feel" like you are going to live this year! Why not? Look around and see the blessings in your life. Hang in there. 13 won't last forever!

I'm left-handed as well, and yes, we do think differently.

Here's the irony: Life isn't worth living if you live it "safely," and what I mean by this is being confined in your house because of fear of the uncertain.

None of us can know what is up next in our life, but going out there and having fun, with the risk of unforeseen dangers is better than being confined by fear.

If you were to live to a ripe old age, but have nothing to look back on with any amount of excitement, that is something I would fear more than anything!!!! When you get old, your friends are either deceased or too old to visit you and spend time with you, and you are too old to go out and do fun, semi-treacherous things, so if you don't get it done by then you're out of luck!!

I would say a person should more fear a lack of fun rather than a lack of safety. You can have that safety, but not much else will come with it.

This is quite normal you are getting older and your thought process is maturing with you. Don't be scared of the unexpected. You need to take a positive approach to life and remember you are in control of where you want to go. Take care of yourself, keep safe and remember your common sense. You will be fine when you realise you have so much strength inside you just need to learn how to use it. Enjoy your life you have many more New Years Eve celebration awaiting you.

No this is not normal, but you have control over your thoughts. Begin to change them when you start to think these things. If you have to, say "stop it" or "shut up" to these thoughts and then think of something good.

You can control this. Take care. Being left handed has nothing to do with this.

I just turned fourteen a couple of days ago. i have similar thoughts, not only for me, but for my parents and my brother as well. I talked to my dad about this and he said that I should not worry because worrying will not change anything. I whole heartily agree.

I wish you a SAFE and wonderful new year.
