Gays always seem to be under attack from the book burning bible thumping club. But as they are becoming more politicized, do you think the gay population will ever have as much influence in Washington as the holy rollers?

They believe that God hates them because they're gay and they believe that they must take down the gays because of that reason. You are born gay, and God loves all his sons and daughters (according to the Bible) so why would he hate them? You have freedom and sexual orientation is your way of life. You can't choose who you love or what attracts you. If being straight was wrong, wouldn't everyone want it to be okay? I think so.
Sorry, I went all preachy on everyone.
And no, I don't think they will. No one listens to them and it's ridiculous.

No, they won't. The more they scream discrimination and that they were born this way, the madder and more relenting and more aggressive the religious right gets. The gays will not win.

Well, it doesn't matter what us CHRISTIANS say about homos - it's what GOD says about them that matters most. God will have the last say on judgment day to those who don't repent of their sin and ask God for forgiveness and turn to Christ for salvation - :D
It appears to me that you don't like people attacking gays, but what a hypocrit you are, attacking Christians by calling us 'the book burning bible thumping club' - that's a TRUE hypocrit!
