Yes. In the Holy Qur'an, one of God's names is (in Arabic) 'Al-Bari' or The Evolver. So even evolution is a creation of Allah

God created the universe.
Evolution is one of the processes that his universe runs on.
To comment on the other answers -
God created Adam and Eve through the process of punctuated equilibrium when he set apart a tiny segment of homonids in "Paradise" - where they grew geneticaly and socialy apart into a separate species in the image of God.

It doesn't add anything to this discussion, but in order for anyone to receive a Darwin Award, he/she has to kill themselves (or remove their procreative powers) by doing something VERY stupid. The idea is that they would be prevented from passing along their stupid genes to future generations. Google it, the stories are rather fascinating.

Whatever caused the earth to exist, and mankind to be was started by God. I do believe in evolution, but that God chose to create the world that way.

You are talking about Intelligent Design?
It sure seems more likely than the Earth being just 6000 years old.
The theory of Intelligent Design is something the Theists made up in the last century to counter the over-whelming mountain of scientific facts about our universe that the church used to deny and persecute those that dared to disagree.

God allowed species to evolve within themselves. To grow bigger or smaller according to their environment .To change colors or shades ,such as foxes.Reddish for the forest ,grey for the desert and white for the Artic.Others get stripes or spots or tan coloration for their particular environments. But from one species to another,no,it doesn't happen and there are no fossils to support this.

Sure, feel free to slap a "god" label on anything that science may discover, it doesn't really make any difference in reality.
