When you do the driving test to get your license, do they do a vision test if you wear contacts? They did when I got my permit but I wasn't sure about the driving test

In each eye by itself or just both of them together?
I know it's a weird question but i wear hard contacts and they take a long time to get used to them and i've only been wearing one and i've almost gotten used to it. I absolutely cannot wear the other one

Vision requirements vary from state to state.

In Alabama, a vision test is given to all driver's license applicants. If you need corrective lenses to pass the test, this will be noted on your license. (It will be a restriction on your license).

I am quite sure this is common in many other states, too.
