I'm 14 1/2 years old, 6 foot 2, 140 pounds and 6% body fat. I really want to increase my vertical leap and upper body strength for basketball. I've looked at Creatine but i'm not sold on it. So whats the safest supplement or diet to build muscle?

7% is the minimum healthy body fat percentage for males, and 140 pounds seems a little bit light for a 6 foot 2 guy. I would find a good weight lifting routine and stick to it... just don't go too heavy if you think your gonna keep growing ( some people think it stunts your growth). Oh and i don't recommend the Creatine...keep it natural you know.. my friend used it and his muscles look a little watery. but then idk its up to you

get alot of protein in your system.....do chin-ups and push-ups....excellent workouts for upper body strength...also the stronger your legs are the better the leaping...and your speed....using leg weights is perfect for building up your legs

Lots of protien, preferably chicken and fish, as well as lifting HEAVY weights at LOW reps.

Oh and for your leaps, try machine squats or leg presses.
