Keep reading....it says" how hard is it for those who TRUST in their riches"...One can,if they are type "A" work your tail off legally and ethically and be rich.If you treat it like it is God's money and you give.Don't think it is because you are rich you are going to heaven. The Jews had a "custom" that if you became wealthy ,God was smiling down on you. That's why they despised the poor as "outside God's help".Even today(this year) I heard Howard Stern say "God must like what I do or I wouldn't be so successful".That is so wrong!

He said that not because they're rich but because of their attitude when they get rich. They look down their noses at the less fortunate, and make things hard for the next person.

It depends on what you do with your riches. If you hoard them away it is not good but if you do good things with it like donate to charities that is good.

I don't try to be rich. Most rich folks aren't happy and will never be happy. Jesus said, you can't serve 2 masters...God and money...you have to choose 1.

I'm satisfied just living comfortable.
I lived with nothing before I prefer to live comfortable.

"And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."
So, it's hard - notice the rich evaluate all things in dollars/francs/lira, etc. Yet, 1st commandment is to have no other gods before Him (Yaweh), so the rich have real difficulty getting that right. Being rich, they're used to making things work by figuring the financial side of things. Financials and Faith have little to do with each other in that order.

Pride, greed, carnality, flesh, SIN!
The Bible says" seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these other things shall come to you!''
