Well I guess I prefer things to go smoothly, but I expect challenges. If everything were just smooth, there wouldn't be much that would keep us at the top of our game, in many areas, as well as spiritually. I think trials help us to keep the faith. Just like some people don't get rich, some people always want in life, this keeps us needing Jesus. If we were not living in need, we might dismiss God, thinking that we can handle things on our own. If we're needing Him all the time, we rely on Him, lean on Him. Base our whole life's dependancy on Him. It might well hurt to struggle, but I think it only makes us stronger.

what exactly are we talking about? I prefer a smooth road over a bumpy, pot holed one. I prefer not to argue with the one I love. On the job, I work best under pressure. I like to figure out a way around obstacles in some endeavors and chores.

i prefer things to go smoothly. it really sucks when you fail a challenge. and i don't like things to be needlessly complicated or difficult.

Adversity shapes character. Then again, it really depends on how each person faces, and overcomes it. Nobody enjoys problems in real life; but how will we know what we're truly made of until problems reveal them to us?

I love it when things go smoothly. I do not like challenges, except when I'm on the other side of them, can look back and say, thank you God for getting me through that.

I prefer things go smoothly, but anything that's happened in my life that was worth while involved some challenge....so there ya go.
