For instance, someone asks me a question, I respond. They say back what I said in a mocking, ridiculing way. I am shocked. Even though they caught me off guard with the question, they did not have to copy how I spoke and the body language I used.

Professional people like social workers and psychologists do this to me when there is no need. I am sorry if I am not as eloquent as they are, they should not judge me or it should not annoy them.

Do you hate this too?

Yes, I hate that.

Especially when it is a parent or a professional that is supposed to help you...they are scum and deserve to be handled medieval style...

It is very annoyong when people mock you - in my case it's not the way I spaek, but my choice of clothes - my bowtie leads me into some situations that aren't always pleasant - but sometimes it has the reverse effect too! and can lead to a new freindship or aquaintance.

If professional people and psychologists are doing this to you, perhaps you should ask them why; especially if you are paying them to analyze or help you.

This is a very strange question and I'm sure there's more to it than you have related to us.

It does not happen to me; and I don't do it to others.

Are you sure you aren't being overly sensitive? When a psychologist repeats what you say they are:
1) Making sure they understood what you were
saying
2) Letting you know that they are listening.

If you think they are really mocking you, tell them you don't appreciate the attitude and report to their supervisors.

Unless we're used to it as part of the local culture to which we belong, say Western teenage boy culture, being mocked can make us feel degraded, humiliated, and devalued. Although some people can be extremely annoying, mockery and ridicule won't change them into someone we enjoy, but it certainly makes the mocker look petty and arrogant to those with eyes to see.

When we're mocked, we can try to take it in stride, accept it with some humor, realize there is likely a grain of truth in it, and try to build bridges. Just maybe, it's their way of making friends, and they want you to play back, but that's risky until you get more information. If the mockers' walls are too thick, avoid interaction with them. If you can't avoid them, steel yourself to stare them down with a look of pity. Otherwise, you're going to keep getting hurt.
