must be happening everywhere...i live in NC and its been going on for an hour, i thought somebody was going door to door killing people or something (sounded like it was getting closer)

I live in baltimore city, you don't have to be here on New years to hear gunfiire, but yes im sure some of the fire I heard was just celebration and hopefully nothing else

Where i live, is a totally rural, redneck community, but the folks here have better things to do with their weapons than wasting ammunition by wasteful shooting.
firring weapons in the air, shows a lack of judgment, as well as complete stupidity.
unless a person is a complete IDIOT, they know that the bullets have to land someplace & it could be in a neighbor or the neighbors house.

No, I didn't HEAR gunshots. Fireworks are legal here and people were having great fun with them until the wee hours last night.
