Your mind will always lie to you, your heart is impulsive, but your gut, your intuition, are divine gifts from God and you should always trust them. The trick is to make sure your mind and heart aren't playing offense and leading you away from your gut. Anxiety and worry are results of your intuition, trust the gut.

You always want to follow the path of love. As long as we trust and follow our heart when it feels good, loving, happy, peaceful and joyful then there's nothing to worry about it.

If something makes you feel drained, negative, not at peace, on guard, then it's not good and not something to follow along with.

When it comes to anxiety/worry, keep in mind there is a difference between feeling anxiety around a person as opposed to having anxiety when not having heard from someone you love on time as expected which is a perfectly normal thing to do. So when it comes to anxiety/worry, it all depends on why and how you happened to feel that way, the circumstances surrounding it. There are logical reasons why it happens.

gut feelings are just instincts and worries. sometimes they're right but more often they're wrong because they're the first guess.

Trial and error. Sometimes my feelings pan out, sometimes they don't. I still have feelings about some things that don't happen. However if I do have a certain feeling about something, warning me away from danger, I never take the chance to test if it's not true.

I was walking back to work after lunch from a shopping mall and saw a man standing by a parking structure. He was about 100 feet away. Something told me not to walk by him. I went about a block out of the way to avoid getting anywhere near him.

Trust your instincts when your safety is at risk.

Your gut is never wrong. That's your spirit trying to communicate with you. Your spirit, the real you, knows all and tries to communicate it to you.

I have found that my gut feeling is always right, even when my gut feeling feels more like anxiety. As an example, a few years ago we were driving to a family get-together at my in-laws', and I told my husband that I was very nervous and had a really bad feeling about the dinner, like something bad was going to happen. Like any normal male, he told me that I'm crazy and imagining things and to stop worrying. Well, during the get-together one of the relatives flew into a rage and started screaming and cursing and stomping around, and we had to run out the door and get in our car and drive away to escape the turmoil. It was really awful. So I always, always trust my instincts, even when I don't understand them, until and unless they are proven to be unwarranted. But like I said, they haven't been wrong yet.

It may also be your conscious or your instinct....The only way to know forsure is to reason it with logic....You can do that by making a list of pros and cons.
