Well I think that ticklefights are the best way to find out. They can start off friendly and get more intimate as they go. Then if you think its heading that way, plant one on him (a kiss that is). Doesnt have to be on the lips but hey that's the goal. You can start off with cheek or forehead and see how he reacts. IF it's bad you can make out you were just being friendly.
This guy is LUCKY. Anyway enjoy being with him and it will happen if it is meant to be.

talk to him --- he will pick up pretty quick that you are interested and i really cant see any guy being freaked out by a lady saying she likes him ---- have fun

Just tell him, if he likes you he will tell you he does. If not he won't make a big deal. He may just say Sorry but I just want to be friends.
