no.. these two don't go together too good.. it will taste really bad. had tried it when I was younger. So just go with coke/whiskey or vodka/whiskey, but do not mix them.

I prefer vodka & tonic with a big lime wedge to vodka & coke.
Or better yet, vodka & cranberry! Yum.

I always thought it would taste gross so for years i put off trying it,but then one night we ran out of orange juice and were only left with coke and no one would go buy anything else,so we did it,we mixed coke and vodka and i tell you one thing...it was like there was a party in my mouth and everyone was invited,it is ow one of my 5 favourite drinks. In fact you can buy coke and vodka in a pre mix now,its called Black Russian,but its better to mix it yourself.

This is fine, but it doesn't taste very good in the opinion of most people. Try a little white rum (Cruzan or Appleton White is best - don't bother wasting your money on Tommy Bahama, and Bacardi is rotgut despite what many would tell you.) and a lime wedge, it'll be a much nicer drink.
