You definately need outside professional help from a licensed therapist and that goes without question :) If you are thinking of suicide (or hurting someone else), please call this number: 1-800-SUICIDE
Regardless of whether you are currently suicidal, you do need help from someone trained in counseling and therapy. He or she may also recommend talking with a psychiatrist about medication though it's ultimately up to the person whether they would like to take medication. (I do and it really helps me to function in addition to counseling.) Please take good care, and stay safe.

You should most definitely get some form of help. Maybe try talking to a counselor or a close family member/friend. Just get some help as soon as you can.

You really need to get help, and I'm not being funny. When i was in my teen years i tried to commit suicide several times, and all that happened was me getting my stomach pumped and being but on phys holds, not worth it, life is hard for everyone, and suicide is very selfish, and there are always more beautiful things to come. keep your head up, and good luck.

Sometimes it just helps to talk to someone. If you can't afford professional help and/or aren't comfortable with that route you might want to try one of the following:
(These people are trained professionals)
1-800-273-talk (8255)
1-800-784-2433 (suicide)

Re program your emotional responses. Realise, and accept that YOU are the one who programmed your mind, and that YOU have the ability to re-program it. See the tips at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris in section 2, particularly those in the mental-health-abc and conquering stress websites. Use the negative thought reprogramming technique, and read page 2L. Recognise, and challenge your negative monologue (self talk). Make a conscious commitment to being positive, and optimistic, even if it is apparently unrealistic, or inappropriate, because of the benefits it will provide, later on. Suicidal thoughts, and anger management are addressed in sections 5, and 4.

Yes this can be an indication that you are clinically depressed. Which means that you probably cannot pull yourself out of the slump on your own.
You need help. This web site has a test that may help--one friend of mine takes it every now and then to see if she is getting better or back in the depression.

Yes, find a counselor. Sometimes talking to an objective person about what's bothering you really helps. Feeling suicidal is a symptom that something in your life is very overwhelming for you, and getting it resolved will make your life a lot better.

I think it's always a good idea to get help from a mental health professional. If you're in school, you may be able to see a counselor. If not, perhaps a visit with a psychologist might not be a bad idea.
It's good to hear that you wouldn't actually commit suicide. The thoughts that you're having are probably the result of depression, and helping to understand those thoughts may alleviate that depression.
You should also know that getting help for a psychological issue doesn't mean you have a problem, or are weak. Sometimes, it's difficult to get outside of your own perspective on what's going on in your life, and getting psychological help may allow you to do that.
Good luck.
