I know how to go about doing it, but does anyone know how much exactly it would cost?

I also need the special chip inside the key to start the car. I forgot to say that.

I made a big mistake. They could cost . Fifty to One hundred dollars. The chip is what you pay for.

Don't forget grab all your keys and remotes then drive over to Nissan dealership. All the keys need to be done new and old so your lost key won't start the car. And if found you have to do the key programing again. If you find a (lost key) 4 attempts the car will lock up and have to be tow trucked to the shop. Some computerized Lock Smiths can preform key programing too.

Call a LOCAL Real Locksmith and tell him you need a duplicate only. We charge 39.95. The literal key here is LOCAL as some 866 and 877 number "Locksmiths" are scams.
