He is unsafe in Iraq and has a valid visa. He just needs somewhere to stay for a few months. He has plans to join the US Army. I am unable to host him but promised to help. Does anyone know of a organization that helps Iraqis who are unsafe due to their support of the US???

I worked with him for a year. It is not a scam. All interps have a bounty on their head. He has immigration status but nowhere to go...

@dded yes it might be a scam but the embassy would figure it out.

There is a large expatriate community of Chaldean Catholics from Iraq who live in the San Diego area. The source below is a link to the web site for the Saint Peter Diocese of that church. It has links to the seven churches within that diocese.
The priests and parishoners might want to help in this regard.

I wonder how you met this guy. Sounds like a scam to me. The US military & government would protect him, as would the Iraqi, if he's in such a predicament.

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN THOUGH, MY UNIT IS IN IRAQ NOW AND SOME OF OUR TERPS ARE REALLY GOOD PEOPLE, AND DESERVE HELP.
