Great and excellent point! That is the thrust of the prosperity message in today's evangelical churches, that God is here to bless and serve us. Jesus said that whoever doesn't take up their cross daily and follow him isn't worthy to be his disciple. Paul gave up all things that he might gain Christ. Peter speaks against the rich, as does John and Jude and Jesus said, "Woe to you who are rich. You have your reward already." We underestimate the power of our flesh to desquise it's evil desires even as godly ones. But it's all the same outcome. You reap what you sow.
(((( luv to you sis))))

Rambling speech doesn't make a paradox. Misquoting doesn't represent a paradox. A simple failure to understand is not a paradox.
A paradox is a contradictory APPEARING set of facts, that are based on REALITY.
Few things are self explanatory. The blind man says there is no such thing as light. The deaf man says that sound is an illusion. The stupid man says knowledge is useless, because it can not be understood. The foolish man says there is no God. The shallow man says everything is a paradox because nothing has value.

Man doesn't want Spirit, he has it and need not ever distrust it.

"IN a world where 'everything' man ask for is given and 'all' illness is removed would God be what man wants?"
In a world like that, God would be exactly what people want. God would be the only thing missing.
What point are you trying to make here?

I'd just settle for evidence of any gods existence. Granted, the current freewill necessitating good and evil is an extremely poor design as is the need for indiscriminate suffering. But the basis of most atheists atheism is that there is no evidence for any god.
Edit:
However, if you want to know how I want god to be,that is another question. In your illustration, you have taken an extremely naive approach. It is obvious that a god can not be a magic genie for all people. On the other hand, one would expect that a god of the human race would not wait for over 200,000 years to reveal himself, only to focus on a single race for 1000 years or so. I could go on but I doubt that you're ready to consider the alternatives.

You've got it!
It's really quite simple and hard to understand why so many cannot grasp this.
