Cabbage is another of the cruciferous vegetables. You could enjoy cole slaw, sauerkraut, steamed cabbage, cabbage rolls, sweet and sour cabbage, etc. I personally love cauliflower and have learned to enjoy broccoli occasionally. And don't forget about brussel sprouts...add a little beef boullion when steaming and it really sets off the flavor. Bok choy is another you might enjoy.
Either buy your veggies at the grocery store that seems to have the freshest produce or find a farmer's market in your area during the growing season.

Good ways to make vegetables taste better is to season them! Many people are unaware of how to season properly. Salt and Pepper should be used for everything! Roasting vegetables is a good way to make them taste better, I could go on and on about which veggies taste better when cooked differently, but a sure fix is to clean and cut some zucchini, yellow squash, any bell peppers other than green (the other colors are sweeter) and maybe some onions. Toss them in some oil, spread them on a sheet pan (cookie sheet) then comes the seasoning... Salt and pepper always! than some other spices such as onion powder, garlic powder, thyme. A sure bet is to purchase a spice mix, like 17 spice or any other blend that is salt free, so you can adjust the salt content yourself. Put the vegetables in a 325 degree oven for about 25 minutes and you should have some tasty veggies.

I love all of them...but my favorite, I'm a Southern woman, born and bred......is Collards, cabbage, and Turnip greens,,roots and tops....I also like broccoli and caluliflower too but I like a white sauce with the cauliflower.....Kale is also good and Brussel sprouts steamed,,,sliced and sauted down with a little garlic and bacon,,,really good....it really depends on how you fix them. I wouldn't like them just steamed very much....I like spicy food. And of course we eat cabbage on New Year's Day in the South, I cook mine with ham and onions. We also eat black eyed peas with that but that is a whole other discussion.

buy them at your local farmer's market. or, at your local heath food store. or from a local farm stand, a farmer who sells produce. the last place i would buy them is from a grocery store.
-buy fresh. organic if possible
-the way they are eaten is all the difference. i like radishes raw, cabbage soup with potatoes and onion, broccoli raw with Italian dressing, and greens fresh in a salad.
-perhaps if you tried eating them in different forms, you might be able to at least tolerate them. many different ways to cook them.
-they are full of good nutrition, especially if not cooked or stored for a long period of time.
-p.s. i hate cauliflower, no matter how it's cooked

Carrots are sweet, you should not buy them - you should raise them yourself
