No. I vote for a candidate's stance on the issues at hand. I don't vote on the basis of his or her religion, and if the candidate is of a different religion than my own (or doesn't profess any religion at all), I'll vote for them if I feel that they're the best candidate.

Religion ....no, Belief in God and Jesus Christ yes. There is a huge differences between religion and true belief. True belief the person will look at what this person not only says but what they have done. Religion on the other hand will be a debate of denomination and church doctrine

If I can not respect the man I vote for. Then his polices means nothing to me .If he is so good, that he does not need Divine guidance from his creator, then he does need my vote.

Sure. I'm a Christian, and I want someone whose world vision is the same as mine. It makes sense.

Of course. You are making a huge decision that could effect the course of history. Why wouldn't you pray, study your bible, and look at the candidates through a lens to see if they might not meet your criteria?

The religious actions of the candidates affect my vote. Ron Paul is an extremist Christian and like most of the rest of the GOP candidates, Pro-Birth. Huckabee is an extremist Christian, so that negates any chance of them getting my vote.

Both have demonstrated their unfitness to serve in their other elected capacities.

Nope.
I see the views of the vote I want to vote for. I look for the ones that match my views.
