Ok my neighbors like JUST put up an inflatable snowman/penguin thing that plays LOUD christmas music from 9 am until about midnight. I can hear it in my bedroom when I try to sleep and hear it in the living room when I try to read. Its SO ANNOYING..and its PAST christmas..if they dont wanna take it down they could at least stop it from blaring the same songs over and over! I want to go kill that thing!

I dont really want to go over there because we have weird neighbors and we live in a side by side town house so im not even sure which neighbors it is.

you should go tell your neighbors to turn that thing off. it is past christmas like you said!!! and if they don't turn it off well i guess killing it would be the only option!!!

I know you don't want to but you need to step up and deal with them person-to-person. It's the mature thing to do and what's more, they probably don't realize how loud it is. Just politely say something like "I don't mean to be a pest but would you mind turning the music down or maybe cutting the music down to a couple of hours a day? I'm studying/sick/have migraines/whatever and I don't think you realize that the noise carries all the way into my house. I'd really appreciate it." If they don't do anything, THEN call the authorities.

You do not have to put up with that and I would go around to the other close neighbors and get them to sign a petition if it bothers them and take that to the police.

you should be able to complain to a city official and get some action .like an alderperson for your ward or part of the city.this person is elected by the people to protect all the people..threat on to move to a city on other side of the USA..you let this go by this year next year will be worse.. also get noise abatement ordinance passed that persons like this can get prosecuted

Leave a note on it saying kindly turn this off its lound and annoying and i cant get to sleep if they dont in 2 days then call the police and say its disropting the neighborhood.

sneak over in the middle of the night, shred it, and leave it on their front door with a note that says "stfu it's after Christmas"
thats what i would do, but hey, I'm evil
you could also be polite about it and go talk to them but i don't think that would be half as gratifying

haha. your a good person for not having killed it already. I wold have sent that dang thing to hell by now. Just tell your neighbors, if they decide to be jerks about it and defiantly leave it up anyway, I'll help ya. >.>

Haha, ask them if they could possibly turn it off.
If not, poke some kind of hole in it when they're not around.
If they can be rude neighbors so can you.
