You are so right and I would love to add something here of thought! Many that are members of religion, church, faith stand any better with the man made doctrines of men misleading man kind in the wrong direction. Some of the houses of the lord have become houses of abuse, a pedophiles paradise, some have become rich with million dollar houses and have become fat off the peoples desire to serve.

Darling, the burden of proof lies upon the believer.

Imagine what a world this would be if I could say "There's an invisible purple unicorn on your shoulder. PROVE it doesn't exist."

The problem is that the traditional conception of GOD implies that if GOD EXISTS then HE KNOWS HOW TO, WANTS TO and is able to PREVENT SUFFERING. If such GOD existed, though, then we could expect HIM to prevent all sufferings.AND IT HAS NOT BEEN PREVENTED! Therefore this argument concludes NO SUCH GOD!
The argument is not AGAINST the existence of GOD but an argument against the OBJECTIVE EXISTENCE OF GOD.
I'm not an ATHEIST okie, I'm still in process of searching too.

Are we required to now? Who are we trying to convince? I'm satisfied there isn't, and if any theist is that concerned about it, it sounds like they need to do the proving.
