Shell is right. They're not very good quality lenses.

You can skimp on camera bodies and still come out okay, but skimping on lenses is bad. All of the light that your camera collects will come through those lenses. Every single picture you take will be affected by lens quality.

It's not worth it.

I wouldn't get a quantary lens even if it was free. They are not made very well and fall apart quite easily, I would go for nikkor, promaster, tamron, or an actual nikon lens. I'm sorry but truely its not worth it at all.

Depends - all aftermarket accessories still have to be dedicated to a specific brand. Quantaray (Ritz' brand) makes lenses and flashes and other accessories to fit Canon, Nikon, and other cameras - but you can't tell by the model number.

It should. However, IMO, you'd be wasting your money. Save your money until you can buy Nikon lenses for your Nikon.
