Am I homosexual?

Hello there;

First off, I just want to say that this is very awkward for me. I just can't figure out if I am straight or not. I have always really liked girls, but have never had a girlfriend (I'm 15). Recently, however, I have started having slight fantasies about men, although the whole idea of sleeping with a man kind of creeps me out. I have also realized that I find certain men attractive (Brad Pitt, etc.) I am not sure, however, if I admire the way they look, or if I just down right think they are hot. I care about my looks, does this affect it at all? Anyways, this is not a joke, please answer!

I have had one very slight sexual encounter with a male, a few months ago, when these feelings were at their peak. They have since lessened a little bit. Yes, I still like girls, I think more then I *may* like guys.

That's a question you should ask yourself not people on Yahoo Answers. You're only 15, so you don't even know who you are yet and I guess maybe this liking men thing is you wanting to find out who you are and if maybe you are a homosexual. Though you say that you care about your looks and you just admire the men by their looks, so maybe you're just saying you wish you were hot like them or something? I don't know. I believe girls and grown women do the same thing admire what another woman is wearing and how hot she looks.I do not think it makes you a queer you are just a little envious, which is a normal human emotion.If you really like girls ask one to a school dance see how it goes.Thier is too much pressure put on young people to be gay or straight,if it creeps you out more then likely you are not gay and if a another boy ever made advances at you, you would refuse thier advances.I had a simalar situation when I was a teen and an older girl made a pass at me and I could not get away from her fast enough and ran all the way home. Don't give in to the gay thing as it might be a popular thing to claim your gay but it is a much harder road to live it.

Its not uncommon to "check out" people of the opposite sex and find them attractive. It certainly doesn't make a person homosexual. The fact that the idea of sleeping with a man creeps you out probably means your not. Your still young and learning about your sexuality and whatever your feeling is perfectly natural and normal. I find other women sexy, but it sure doesn't mean I would have sex with one.

Relax and don't worry so much....either way its okay.
And don't feel like you have to CHOOSE one or the other at this point.

you might just be going through a phase as you are sort of young and immature still at 15. things change alot from there so i would not fret so much over this. it may just be that you sort of 'look up' towards that type of guy and subconsciously aspire to be like them

however if you are really worried about this, you may speak to a counsellor or your parents about your sexuality. usually adults have enough capacity and maturity (i hope) not to treat you like a freak case. they would however be able to dispense some valuable advice on this

First off, no one is perfectly straight or perfectly gay/lesbian.
There is such a thing as when you can find men attractive, but are more strongly attracted to women.

Honestly, i don't think anyone can tell you who YOU are. This is a matter of you finding who you are. I've had guy friends who have been in your position and have experimented in order to find out whether they are homosexual or not. I don't really suggest doing it but i do suggest you thinking about whether you see yourself spending your life with a female.. or a male.

Well, fiinding another guyy attractive doesn't make you gay, either does caring about your looks, the only way you know is the way you feel about someone, like if you see a guy and you think "I want to sleep with him" or something like that then you may be.
