I have no evidence at all and therefore am a lifelong atheist.

just look up St. Aqinas' 5 proofs. Made me change my mind because its true. It looks like you might want to change your mind so just keep open doors and dont be stubborn and say " all this is B.S. god doesn't excist" because it isn't true.

'proof' : "a formal series of statements showing that if one thing is true something else necessarily follows from it"
According to the dictionary's definition of the word 'proof', Yes.
Does a dress have a designer & seamstress?
Does a car have a designer & mechanic?
Do houses have designers & carpenters?
Such things are all made from many inanimate objects,
fashioned into more complex inanimate objects.
If all of the components for just one of these things,
were tossed together thousands upon thousands of times, they would never, ever, come together as the object they have the possibility of being if propperly assembled.
Someone has to guide where --and how-- each piece goes,
& fasten them together appropriately...
Chance cannot accomplish this, nor can any explosion.
It takes wisdom...
Such wisdom & ability exist only in a person,
the person of the Creator.
The simplest of life forms are vastly more intricate than the most intricate of man's technological feats.
Plus, not one of such feats is capable of life.
It takes an artist to create a true work of art...
It takes a Life-Giver to breathe the breath of life
into His own sculptures.
"Science and [true] religion [are] no longer seen as incompatible." (The Daily Telegraph, London, May 26, 1999)

In 1995 I was researching paranormal phenomena and realized that in my research and experiences 'God' blessed me with Proof of Superconsciousness/Oneness. This summer I made a 26-minute webcam lecture that explains how so-called paranormal phenomena provides evidence of this intermediary Superconsciousness or Spiritual Force.

Yes, the proof is in my heart and mind, yet it cannot be proof of anything to you. Only you can prove to yourself whether or not the gods exist.

I heard you loud and clear, but don't want to give you anything other than a very important book or e-book, where you can read at your leisure. After that you will have the choice to either serve the living God or carry on in your ways.
Much confusion reigns here :-(

Sorry, but NO, I have no proof that would convince you.
I love God. I accept Jesus.
Are you going to be mature enough and moral enough to accept and respect my belief? I am not trying to convert you.
Can YOU be respectful enough NOT to try to convert ME?
I hope so!
Happy New Year!
BY the way...ATHEISM IS NOT A RELIGION.
All atheists know that! Didn't you say that you were an atheist?
I am surpised that you asked for something that might change your "religion"...seeing as how you claimed to be an atheist.
Hmmmm.....

I won't say you don't need proof. alota people do need some sign or miracle or whatever. but i will say that christianity is based on faith, not proof. i believe in everything the Bible says and i have no proof. so its hard to "prove" to you i'm right, but just think of it this way: you may say you need a sign in order to believe there is a God. well, what about all of the people, even on yahoo answers, who tell you about a God they believe in. isn't that a sign in itself that God wants you to beleive in him? be open to these things. nobody can prove to you in any way that God exists, especially on the internet.

I can't make you believe anything. All I can do is tell you what happened to me that made me change my mind.
Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don
