It's a toss up.
A theist will never prove Biblical truth to an atheist.
An atheist will never convince me that I am wrong.
No one is under any obligation to prove anything to anyone.
This is a personal thing.
Trying to convince anyone of anything is like spinning your wheels.
The best thing is to agree to disagree and go on living without trying to impose your views on anyone.

An atheist trying to disprove God, because you can't prove something that isn't true. You can't prove that God doesn't exist, because he does!

I think the atheist's argument is a bigger waste of time. Theists believe that they have more time, because God is going to fix this mess. Atheists, on the other hand, figure they have 80, maybe 90 years on Earth and that's it. If I thought this existence was all I had, I'd sure spend my time doing something besides arguing.

They are equally as wasteful.
Example: What's heavier: a pound of feathers or a pound of rocks? Duh! They weight the same.
ofanothermind, your comparison only proves that theists are more likely to use violence/pain to demonstrate that they are superior not only to atheism, but to differing theistic beliefs as well. Thank you for correcting me and making me feel more sorrow for theism. I hope you have a Happy and Safe New Year.

A theist trying to prove biblical truth
It takes a lot more time to be convinced or convince yourself that all that Bible is the word of God and memorize and quote the Bible than it takes to simply look around, take the time to think and realize that there is no evidence for theism.

the Christian is only promoting something he or she already believes. the atheist is arguing wholeheartedly and without end against something they say doesn't even exist. from my seat the athesist is only making a fool of themself. I do think the athesist protest far TOO much to be taken seriously as a non-believer.
it would be more effective to just let it pass by. You my dear, are a perfect example
Solo---when I was grown at about 17, I challenged my dad with that very arguement. He proceeded to get a 100 pounds
of flour and a 100 pounds of nails.----dropping one on each of my feet-----I left with new understanding of volume and mass!
