I know it's weird... Right now I am 13 and I go to a
PRIVATE ALL GIRLS SCHOOL! I am not used to being around boys anymore... whenever I go near a boy my age I feel embarrassed and scared and I feel ashamed of it.
I also don't have any boy's as friends (Or boyfriends) so it makes it even worse. But I'm not nervous around my dad or adult men (Even though some of them are petifiles) I'm ok!

For one you are 13 and you shouldn't even be thinking about them anyways. I am a mom and I have 3 girls.
For 2; you will come around when it is time. Right now you are just starting to become a little lady and you need to worry about your schooling.
When you are ready to start being around boys it will come. And DO NOT be embarrassed or ashamed to be around them either. Waht to know why?
We brought them into this world! Without us women they wouldn't even exist !!!!!

You're only 13, just be yourself. I'm 14, go to a public school with girls and boys, and can barely talk to the hot guys myself! I have never had a guy friend since pre-school and have never had a boyfriend! My brother says talking to new people like boys comes naturally, when you're ready for it you'll know! The key is to be yourself, act around boys how you would act around anybody else. If they like you for who you are then you are on to something.

Don't think of them as "boys". think of them just as a normal person, or treat them as you would want to be treated. in time, you will feel comfortable to maybe be friends. take your time. and if they are pedifiles, RUN the other way, that is not good!

You'll love hanging out with guys, most chicks do. We're more fun, and don't care about your clothes or makeup or fashion, just if you're cool or not.

whoauuu. It sounds bad if you ask me. you are going on the wrong path, are you gonna turn out to be ... to like girls only for the rest of your life???
the reason why you feel confortable around your dad or grown ups is because you know they wont hit on you, or they wont judge you. anyway, you shoulndt feel like that around boys. I am a guy but i also have a lot of girls as friends. You should have the same thing.

just hang around with ur girls for a while and maybe one of them has a guy friend that may hang out with u guys once in a while. ur comfort around guys will be back soon, dont panic and unlike the first guy said, dont worry UR NOT GAY.
