Islam is a very peaceful religion, especially if you look at the core teachings of the faith. The perception of violence is brought on by those misguided Muslims who take parts of the Qur'an out of context and/or follow leaders who are misguided. The majority of Muslims in the world are very peaceful people. Anyone who says otherwise is making it up or speaking out of pure ignorance.

I've lived in several Muslims communities around the USA and visited overseas and never in my life seen a violent Muslim, heard a sermon calling people to violence or terror. Instead, all of the sermons I've ever listened to are about things like doing good, charity, gaining knowledge, helping those in need, worshiping God, purifying one sins and/or addictions, etc.

I find it sad that the media magnifies terrorists and paints the picture that all Muslims fall into the same category as that of the terrorists. Don't people realize the terrorists often target peaceful Muslims as well as non-Muslims? The world is quick to judge and condemned whole groups of people just because they claim to follow the same faith. The people of the world have a long way to go before that can see the truth of those not like themselves.

it is how Islam has unfold in the previous. in the event that they have an benefit , they loot and plunder jointly as screaming verses from the Quran justifying their strikes. as quickly with the aid of fact the chips are down and that they start getting whacked, the peace comprehensive Muslims who're silent till ultimately then, come out of the timber works claiming ,the non Muslims have twisted the actual Islam and purely an extremely microscopic baddies are giving Islam a bad call. they stay silent while they are wining with a view to benefit from the loot. they have performed this double game concept out background and purely of previous due their concepts-set has been uncovered in the west with the aid of a lot extra sensible and swifter communications.

Can a religion founded by a pedophile (Yes! It was, and there is no excuse for it!) and someone who advocated wife-beating and has a common law (the Shari'ah) which promotes beheading, the severing of limbs, and other atrocities be at its core non-violent?

I don't think so.

Do you get a peaceful religion anywhere? The legacy of Islam is for all to see....they want to annihilate Israel of the face of the earth, including all her friends.

Peace can only come from Jesus Christ, for He is peace and truth, and power, and great, and wonderful, indescribable glorious.

Would there be anyone so foolish as to ignore such a loving God, who left His heaven and took on flesh and saved us from the sins of this world?
