Not really, unless they have there phone # listed. Then you can look it up through the phone book. Otherwise ur better off just calling that # back, or texting it. If your scared of getting caught do it from a payphone...good luck.

Text as in email or text message on her phone?

If you are referring to an email, look at the header but people use bogus names all the time. If you are referring to a text message on a cell phone, no there no way she can find out who it was.

If people don't properly identify themselves just delete the message. If it isn't important for people to make it clear that they are sending the message, don't waste time trying to figure it out.

There are reverse phone directories on the Internet, but they usually don't work for cell phone numbers. What you can do is send a text to the same number asking the person who it is. If you're not willing to do that, then don't worry about it.
