Religious beleifs have been the cause of too much bloodshed on our planet. But than again, so have political beleifs. Our world is in peril. Religious beleifs have not saved us and I doubt politics will. Wake up people!

We live in the age of the all mighty dollar. The churches want it more than you will ever know. The people envy those who have it. And those who have it use it to gain even more. Where will wealth get you when it is not needed?

It is the not following of the heart of religious beliefs that cause religious wars, etc. It's man's humanity and lack of understanding of the faith ('They know not what they do.')

With or without religion man has been the cause of all this bloodshed. Just look at communism. Stalin killed 60,000,000 of his own people for the worship of a Godless state. No religion was allowed. Cuba, the same thing. North Korea, people are dying in droves. It is the religious beliefs that are holding these poor people together in the midst of all this Godless bloodshed.

The definition of "religion" has been changed. God is the only thing that has kept this world together!I will say, some people let religion actually TAKE the place of God! God should be the focus in America...not religion.God is the only thing that keeps this world from completely falling apart! So I believe you're WRONG in the area of God.

I will disagree about religious beliefs being the cause of bloodshed. It is only when people take their beliefs too far and infringe on others' beliefs. Most of the time done in ignorance. Politics is the same way. And... if you look through out history, most of the bloodshed was caused when many people used their religious beliefs for their own political agendas.
And it isn't too much different today.

Thou art correct, being in the state of correctness and not in the state of incorrectness. As thou art in the state of correctness, and not in the state of incorrectness, thou art therefore correct.
