Considering it isn't traditional (it was added to the Pledge during the Red Scare) and is unconstitutional (the Pledge is part of the Flag Code), yes. Edit: Why did I get a thumbs down? Everything I said in this answer was, and is, accurate. Edit II: "I pledge allegiance to my flag and the republic for which it stands: one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all." - Francis Bellamy, 1892 "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands; one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all." - Modified version used from 1926 until 1954 "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." - Unconstitutional version approved by congress in 1954 Edit III: Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion".

Secular society has done wonders since it took GOD out of schools, huh?
Yea, just keep removing GOD from all of our lives; we're on a course of self-destruction.

We don't have that on our money, but I firmly believe that there is NO place for religion in politics, you either want to be a politician or a priest...

It was never there, friend.

Money leaves. Money can hurt you. God can't.
