this question was asked once before but then was removed due to some reason i dont know. (so if anyone can fill in my question and theological points then thankx
anyhow, assume god exists ok. now lets go one more step and say hypothetically he announces himself to the whole world and everyone agrees that their is a god. Now why would i follow him? God demands us to follow certain rules, and if not we go to hell. thats like an evil dictator forcing you to be his slave or less you get severely punished. god is pointing a gun to the head, and demanding you follow him or else. wouldn't a brave and courageous man rather live his life the way he wants to and suffer the consequences, then conform to gods rule, and let his life be run in a way he doesn't want it to?

"why no longer doubt?" --- with the aid of fact the word says that whatsoever isn't of religion is sin.....and sin does no longer enter heaven. Why serve God? Why love and Worship Him? with the aid of fact HE FIRST enjoyed us and gave Himself for us --- jointly as we've been yet sinners Christ died for us. are you able to truly be so without feeling or compassion that meaning no longer something on your ungrateful heart? God did each and every little thing He would desire to to grant you a stunning relationship with Him with each and every of the advantages on your edge --- life, love, peace, exhilaration, dwelling abundance without regrets and no outcomes of sin, to be accompanied via eternity in heaven with exhilaration, contentment, delight and Fellowship. Is is definitely so hard to circulate away the skepticism and include the reality that God supplies? you have each and every little thing to benefit and not something to lose (different than your eternal unfavorable outcomes). there is not any "evil" in God - no longer even a "little bit."

I think it would be a matter of belief - one would either believe He is Who He says He is, or they wouldn't.

You have a total misunderstanding of God (not "god").
God's Laws are based on His very nature and character, and because we were created in His own image, when we violate God's Laws, we violate ourselves, as well. (Kinda like putting water in your gas tank. It violates the nature of the car.
For instance, God is Truth, so telling a lie is a sin. God is Faithful, so unfaithfulness, such as breaking promises or infidelity is a sin.
In addition, because sin violates God's very nature, and our own, as well, God has zero tolerance for sin. God MUST judge sin or heaven would quickly become as corrupt as earth.
Furthermore, because the sin is a violation against God, Himself, and because God is ultimate, so the crime is ultimate and thus the penalty must be ultimate!
Does this help to understand what's going on just a little, because without this basic understanding, nothing else makes any sense.
Now then, the problem - the bad news - is that we have ALL broken God's Law, we are ALL guilty, and we have ALL earned the punishment.
But God created us to enjoy life in heaven, and He doesn't want ANY body to go to hell! God said He does NOT take pleasure in the death of the wicked. He said "Please choose Life, that you may live!" (Jesus said "I am Life!")
So, rather than just watching the entire human race all go to hell, He provided a way of escape. He came to earth as Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in a real flesh and blood human body, and after having lived a perfectly sin-free life, died in our place. The Bible says that even though Jesus had never known sin, yet He actually became sin for us. He traded places with us and took our place. He suffered under the authority of Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and buried. But because He had never actually sinned, He took the keys of death and hell from satan and rose from the grave on the morning of the third day, thus proving once and for all time that He truly is who He claimed to be.
God is offering us a free unmerited pardon for all our sins (ie crimes against God) by taking the penalty on Himself. He asks us to admit our guilt, repent and turn from living a self-centered selfish sinful lifestyle, and allow Jesus to be the Lord (boss) of our lives, and trust Him to guide you through life.
As a result, He will forgive you, rescue you from the power of sin and it's eternal consequences, and adopt you into His Forever Family.

The only way to find true contentment in life is to follow God. God made it this way because he's God and has the right to make things whatever way he wants. As our Creator, God has the right to tell us what to do. However, he gives each of us the choice to ignore him and live our lives however we want. But why would a person want to give himself up to an eternity in hell just so he could do what he wanted with his life for a few years? This strikes me as simply foolish, not brave and courageous.

An immoral deity should not be worshiped. A moral one would not want to be.
There is no legitimate reason for worshiping God.

1. God is the creator of all things - and all things comes back to God. and the best way to go back to him is to follow his command
2. God did not need to create us. I mean he is perfect and complete in himself - but because of love, he created man. And man answers back this love through following God
3. God is perfect and eternal therfore he is Good. And if he is good then he wont want bad things for his creation. Therefore we follow God because we know he will lead us to all things good.
