Just in case there is a God who punishes anyone who believes in a supernatural diety to suffer for eternity?

Here's a new wager that I think is equally valid/absurd as Pascal's.

I believe in all gods, just in case there's one who will kill me for not believing in him/her/it.

I won't lose much if I believed in God and there was no God. But of course there is God, so if I didn't believe, I would be in hell forever ....

Actually, according to my personal observations of reality, your idea makes far, far more sense than the other Pascal. That's why I do in fact practice your idea.

Unfortunately, when you compare your wager to Pascal's, yours loses completely.

You posit that if there is a god who punishes, it's better to disbelieve it; that's akin to disbelieving the law because you may be arrested for committing a crime. Your wager is nonsensical.
