If you had ever been to Iraq you would know they chase the vehicles anyway, water, MREs whatever... the problem is that the soldiers do give it to them, so they keep chasing.
As a commander, if I saw soldiers leading them on like this, I would have done something about it.
No, all soldiers are not like this. I know people will say all soldiers are, but you have to keep in mind, if we decided that all civilians were the same as the headlines we saw in the papers, all civilians would be rapists, murders and drug dealers, but we know they are not.
People posting this type of video hope to prey on simple minded people that will stereotype. That is demonstrated in the comments below the video.

the historic previous isn't a guy or female so it can not be a witness and generally the historic previous can mirror the opinion of the guy who wrote it. now, are you waiting to describe the way it comes that hamas is keeping it self by potential of sending a rocket (which properly is an prolonged way distinctive). additionally take up account that Israel had "fortunate" thinking the reality that the rockets did not make any important injury besides the incontrovertible fact that that's generally a issue of "fortunate" and the rockets might (and in spite of the reality which could) fall in some place of abode or business enterprise.

No-You have to remember that when they enlist men and women into the military, all that is required is that you are 18 years old. They don't care if you are educated, smart, have good morals, or are a good person, or really care about a "cause"....they just need bodies. Every person who has joined the military has done so for their own personal reasons. Most are there for support of our country, and to better the world, and provide protection for us all.
Also, you do have to remember that our country displays children as "Innocent" while in Iraq and other 3rd world countries, children can be just as lethal as adults, and are used by adults to do their "dirty" work, just as women are. We only see a portion of this video, you have no idea what happened before this....and I am by no means excusing this behavior...just want you all to think about something other than just what you see. More than likely its the media only showing what they want us to see, to make us continue to believe what we are doing over there is bad, and to "end the war', etc.
And i have to agree, it doesn't look like any child was "forced" to do anything. AND yes there is water running in the streets, its raw sewage, most likely, not fresh water.
And the water is sent from the US, payed for by your tax dollars....its for the soldiers...they aren't required to give it away.

No forcing was done-the teasing by the soldier was wrong and if he was under my command he would be punished. The flip side is for a while the Americans would stop and give them candy and stuff-then they started getting explosives gong off and killing the kids or snipers shooting when they stopped. It was wrong for the soldier to keep teasing with the water but they were not being forced to run either.

Great video. All the soldiers was doing was teaching the kids that nothing is free and that everything has a price. The soldiers was improving the health of the kids in physical fitness this in turn helps fight against medical problems. I see it that the soldiers did a good job in helping the kids out then gave them fresh water to drink.
Now if you want to know the truth, kids will always chase Army vehicles and there is nothing you can do about that, war is hell and it seems that the kids are the ones that paid the highest price. You want to listen to a stupid video on you tube, why don't you go over there and find out in person what we go through for the freedom that you enjoy so much but done nothing to earn it!!!! US Army Airborne Rangers, "Retired" We lead the way.
