What? Son whiskey and beer taste amazing. Whiskey is the only hard liquor worth drinking but beer is nothing to turn your nose at. If you are a youngster (a little illegal drinking going on) you will probably like whiskey more. I can safely say that people under 21 overwhelmingly prefer the taste of hard liquor. However, when you don't have to drink that strong crap anymore, people gravitate towards beer. It seems like everyone who obtains experience in drinking tend to move towards beer. It is an evolution of sorts.

Keep in mind do you have to get used to the taste of alcohol first but if you can have some whiskey soon, try it. Mix it with coke or something but give it a shot. It is vastly superior to vodka, gin, even rum.

To me, I love whiskey taste...by itself it's nice and rough but with some ginger ale it's great! Black Velvet. Crown Royal are favs. Washington apple shots.
I despise beer. I just don't like that yeasty taste. I never got into it. I've drunk beer about 5 different times and never liked any of those types.

They're both pretty rugged, but beer is at the bottom of my list.
