Amoxicilian can cause stomach upset. If you try meat baby food and baked chicken, and your cat still turns up his nose at it, check with the vet to switch antibiotics to something else that won't make your cat feel sick to his stomach.

It sounds like he may have been discharged too early. He probably needs fluid therapy to help flush toxins out of his system. Did they recheck his kidney values before he left? If they are still high, it will make him nauseated. You really should call the vet back and get some advice.

Yes when I brought my cat home after having his blockage taken care of my cat was in a similar situation...he got better with each day that passed just give him time and hold and kiss him if he will let you if not just let him alone to heal...try making him a nice warm spot so hopefully he will lay there or pile up some old towels or blankets for him if he is like my cat mine was leaking out urine for the first 24 hours...and just make sure you have food and water available for him he will eat when he is ready and I bought mine Purina One for Urinary Tract health...it is better for them and 1/2 the price of the food the vet will reccomend...mine has been free of any blockage for over 2 yrs now...good luck he will be better soon and make sure you keep giving him his medications...email me if you have any questions

Poor baby, he's really feeling badly!
Force feeding should actually be done with a plastic syringe (you didn't mention this so I'm not sure if that's what you are doing or not) so you can get it far enough back in their mouths that they can't spit it out. I had to do this once with a very sick kitty, I brought up quality of life issues with my vet over this and she said that it most often stimulated the cats to eat by themselves and that was the case with mine, after the first dollop in he'd lick it off the end of the plastic syringe.
The laying in weird spots and staring off into space sounds normal for this sick of a kitty.
For the feeding, try this: Cook some chicken breast in chicken broth, preferaby low salt, til it is very soft, shred it into small pieces. Get down onto the floor and eat a little of the shredded chicken yourself, then offer him just a little. If he's totally uninterested try gently rubbing just a little of the broth from your fingertip onto the cats nose, he'll lick it off and this may get him interested in the food. If it's too late to go to the store for chicken, see if you can get him interested in tinned tuna, or even better, tinned salmon.
Sometimes when my animals are ill and won't eat food, they will lap up a little chicken broth (real broth, not bullion, it's too salty).
Good luck with sick kitty!
PS, if you are really worried about infection, try to check in with your vet asap. If you've stayed on your antibiotics you are probably ok on that. Sometimes antibiotics themselves make the animals feel bad and not want to eat.

I think at this point, it would be better not to try to get your cat to eat. He did have a serious medical problem and is still sick. That's why he's not eating. Your cat should start eating again when he feels better. It could be a few more days until that happens but he's not going to starve before then. I would wait it out but be sure that he does have water available.

My cat had exactly the same problem....he re-blocked hours after the catheter was removed. The vet wanted $700 to re-treat him, with no guarantees, and it was on a holiday weekend. I called another vet, to have my beautiful boy put to sleep, as I would not let him just die in pain, but this vet said.....let's look at curing him. So they did a re-routing of his ureter. The vet knew I didn't have a lot of money, so they put a $1000 cap on it. Joey was in the hospital for two weeks....they didn't make a dime on him......but it IS a cure. They told me he would always be vulnerable to re-blocking without the procedure.
Your cat's refusal to eat could be a way of telling you things are shutting down. He may just be not hungry, but it could also be a clue to an ongoing problem. Make sure you monitor his water intake and output. If he drinks, but does not urinate, or is having trouble, or acting distressed, it could be very serious.
Good luck....I was able to get two more years with my cat. The prescription diet was what got him.....but the problem I took him in for was cured.

If you have ever had a bladder infection, you would know how lousy he feels. Give the antibiotic time to work. If he is not eating and drinking in the morning call the vet.

Give him a little time to get his appetite back. You say that you just brought him home, so maybe give him a little time to adjust...he has been through a lot with surgery. You could try to call the vet and see if anyone is on call or call an emergency vet place and see what they say.
