my skin feels very rough and looks very blotchy. in the corners of my nose it is very red and rough there too! HELP! thankyou

Just rinse it extremely well and put on some soothing face lotion. And give it time to heal. With luck it will be OK in a day or two. Don't mess with the irritated places with your hands. The skin is broken and your hands have bacteria on them.
And try not to do that again.

Wash it with lukewarm water maybe.
