Ok - so are prunes just dried out plums? FACT - So how is it possible to get Prune juice, as by its very nature it contains no juice as it is a DRIED out Plumb. And why is there no Plum juice?

if these prunes are dried you add sugar water and leave them to soak so if eg you had a pounds worth in weight of prunes add 1 pint of sugared hot water until they are soft and the water is cool

Prunes are stewed in water, probably a little sugar, then squeezed to remove the skin. Juices coming out at squeezing is "prune juice."
