Of course. It is about balance. I do not think creation came about from just "male" energy, because that is not all there is in the world. Just like light and dark, cold and hot, yin and yang, there is also male and female at the very core of all that exists. How could that actually be possible if our creator only has male (yang) energy to bestow to the Universe?

Vitamin C, Vile Nutrient - hits it from another angle, but it is truth as well. Here is my skinny:

We are created in His image. God is so High on family that that has to be His laboratory system. Adam&Eve point that way to. But He is Low on blasphamey. GOD gets so irked when we take His name for nought, or say His name in vain, that He put it on the TOP 10 list.

The reason our Heavenly Mother is not in any scripture is because He knows we would just run her name through the muck, He'd get angry and poof, no mo sunshine, or worse.

The Earth is a body. This has nothing to do with the people who live on the earth, just the Earth. It is body, on the level our flesh is body. this body called earth, like our body called flesh, has a spirit.

No. Man was the original concept just as Sons of God were created as the heavenly host or Angels or however you define the citizens of Gods kingdom. Though their may have been beauty and traits of feminity associated the female form was created as a mate/companion for man on this earth. The woman being of a man was to become one flesh as they marry and concieve of children naturally with one another. This was the original plan. Eve's disobediance and consequent choices sorta screwed things up for the rest of us and there is much to that story. However, God, The Father..Ya'hovah...needed no such entity and His Word defines plainly that the Godhead is God the Father, God the Son and the power of the Holy Spirit they share as each are self-existant and eternal co-creators of everything. They complete the divine family because the Father beget the Son and as well so follows the Genesis record right up until the birth of Christ on this earth. Women are repeatedly called and considered daughters of men. We are a special and unique creation and many women have come before us since the time of Eve and esteemed us back into the eyes of God as He has kept close scrutiny and record of also in the Bible. However, upon the resurrection, as Jesus answered to the scribes, we will be like the angels..neither male nor female...Just as God is not male or female. These attributes are human. He, Him and such are attributed to Him because of the lack of a better discriptor to imply the Authority and Rulership associated with a "being" of masculine charectoristics. No one knows what constitutes the physicality of God...Spirit explains but doesn't explain alot. He stated "let us create man in our "image"..." So man would have been the fleshly, male image of God and God of course dwelled with the pair in the garden but...where would there have been "the mother"? Many attribute the earth as the mother being...or matrix..which is another word for womb...maybe so in a way...Mother Nature, etc. But should we worship the earth as a co-goddess? After all, who created the earth and the goddess didn't create herself? We are warned who for whom to worship and whom to consider God. It would seem to make sense. We always tend to want to assign human ideas and concepts to God. However, it is God that created us and left very little by way of explaination to whatever He is or of...just that He is and that's all the sufficient knowledge we have. We are not to lean on our own understanding...more so we aren't to consider the doctrines of Man. If we are doing either one of these things then we have turned our back on truth. One day we will know in full what we only know in part right now. This is why there is a need for trust. Worship God only. Love in Christ, ~J~

no. God is neuter gender, having no genitals, yet portraying features of which He modeled guy after. you will observe He begat Jesus, yet He calls Himself the father. and you're kinda good approximately one element: "God does no longer ask us to do some thing He does no longer in our place". examine Revelations 19:9 and the corresponding passages with regard to the marriage Supper of the Lamb. now tell me, is there a Heavenly mom? there's a bride. you may no longer justify that concept from the Bible.

It would seem logical to me. If you look around the world, you would see that such is the basic order of things. IE that life is procreated by having a male and female join together. And since God is an orderly God, I would think that he operates upon the same principles that he created the world with.

God made us in His image. So there must be another counterpart.(we have masculine and femanine here so there must be in the eternal Kingdom. If there is a Father there must be a Mother. We can not have any quality that God doesn't have. Though here in the material world our qualities are perverted. (a reflection of the actual qualities.) God is love and the eternal divine counterpart feminine aspect is Goddess also known as Rahda or Hare. God isn't just sitting up in the eternal kingdom pointing down at us. He has representatives taking car of this world under His instruction. He is sporting with Sri Radha eternally in Divine loving passtimes. It only makes sense. We have all the qualities of God like a drop of water of the ocean has all the qualities of the ocean, but the drop never becomes the Great Ocean. All is written in the Vedas. The eternal Divine Couple is Radha Krishna, They have many expansions such as Lakshmi Narayan, Sita Rama, etc. Without knowing this we can not enter into Their eternal, transcendental, divine pastimes and in making beautiful tasteful arrangements for Them. I choose that. So wonderful Thier Transcendental Love is.

Not exactly. I have to think that the Creator doesn't reproduce and therefore doesn't have a mate and so sex doesn't come into it. But to say that God has no sex might be kind of like saying that humans don't have shells and are not attached to rocks. If you tried to explain humans to an abalone, you might say something like that. But it wouldn't tell them much about what a human is.
Of course the relationship between a child and its mother or father is something that makes sense to humans and certainly is at least part of the truth about God.

no heavenly mother. God is enough. the queen of heaven is a reference to the woman who rides the beast after the church is caught up with Jesus. that's the only woman mentioned with regards to heaven.

ofcourse! God's Covenant with man means family. It is only fitting that God is our Father, Jesus Christ is our elder brother, and the Blessed Virgin Mary is our Spiritual Mother!
