We're both juniors. I'm the popular 3 sport varsity athlete jock who's going to play college ball. She's the unpopular "loser/nerd" who loves romantic stuff, love movies, and other stuff like that. I have feelings for her, but I'm not friends with any of her friends because we just in opposite sides of the spectrum. I like never talk to her but I want to. I asked my boy about this and he was like wtf you thinking kid she's a loser and I got pissed at him. If I date her I know I'll get made fun of so much and stuff but I want to because she's so cute and she's the nicest person I've ever known. No I am not a creep or nothing but like I check her facebook page and stuff I don't know why. **** what should I do?

There is a thing called reality, and high school is just superficial and none of the popularity will ever matter. Yes, some kids have it easier in high school, because of money, good looks, and other things but popularity shouldnt matter. Who cares what other people think? When you get out into the real world, you'll never know if the person you met was a nerd or a jock until you meet then, and popularity kind of disipates after high school because in college, everyone is starting to mature and act like young adults. So I say go with your gut and who cares what everyone else says. If they are your true friends they will be happy for you. Popularity it just something to make others feel bad, and we're all equal so why should it matter?

Start talking to her. If your friends are so moronic as to control who you talk to or date, they are the losers. Doing what you want shows independence and assertion. If you cave to them, you'll feel crappy and lose self-respect. Go for it.

The first thing here is to realize once your out of schoold, its not the same world! Theyll make fun of you? Why care?? Who the fu*k are they? Let me put it this way bro! I'm 28, Ive had 34 fights in the Octagon since 1999 and I will have more. Im 19~15 with my win loss rrecord. I play guitar, Im in two bands, play shows all the time. I work at a hip spot. Blah Blah Blah, the point is like you naming off being the popular jock and going on to play college ball, well look at what i do and now heres how I date...Now let me tell with that, I could give a fu*k less what anybody thinks of the girl Im with. Im with her, their not! So why not let that college ball turn you into more of a man, and just date her as your into her and shes into you! (and as it has happend before those same people "guys mostly" that made fun of you for dating her...will be chasing after her if you break up with her, they make fun for different reasons and thats useallly the biggest one) Good Luck! Do the right thing!

How sad you are, giving in to this petty social pressure. You like the girl, why not just go for it? What does it matter what the other drones think? Mindless twerps. Be your own man!!!!

You should go for it! Don't judge someone because of their popularity status. Did you ever consider that there is life after high school and that she might actually be a person worth knowing? Go with your gut. If you like her, then that's what is important.
