Fellow Christians,

I find it alarming these days what people except as "normal" on their tv screens. The "boob tube" has become a haven for teenage girls slinking around in unbecoming outfits to make bad impressions on our younger girls, young men doing stunts that are nothing short of lewd and crude for our teenage boys to mimmick, homosexuals parading around with rainbows, people having abortions on every other channel, murderers, rapists...and nowadays, the worst of them call...people so foolish, they don't even BELEIVE in GOD! Imagine that! They're called "atheists", and it's the newest craze among our young people. Well, as a proud christian father of 6, i think it's SICK, and an ABOMINATION AGAINST GOD.

Have we stooped so low as a society, that we allow our precious children to be exposed to crazy people "out of their gourds" running around in circles yammering nonsense about all of creation EVOLVING? I want a vote for TRUE Christians. Public atheism: love it, or ban it?

LOL - great satire! Do you have an agent or do you handle yourself?

Ever hear of the First Amendment? There's this crazy part of it that guarantees freedom of religion. So, if you want to dictate what can and cannot be seen on TV (I'm assuming you want to include all media as well), that is quite un-American and un-Constitutional. Your little rant doesn't just target Atheism; it targets anyone who is not a Christian. Get over yourself. If you want religion to dictate everything, I hear the Taliban is looking for a few good men.

But hey, let's ban Atheism. Why not? Soon after someone will come along to ban you too. Instead of encouraging the abolishment and censorship of something simply because it disagrees with your view of the world, you should defend its right to exist so they in turn will defend your right to exist.

Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with this poem:
"In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;
And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;
And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;
And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up." - Pastor Martin Niemöller

And frankly, I don't feel like being nice right now. You're an idiot and a disgrace to real Christians.

I think atheists shouldn't be allowed on TV.

They tend to fall off and interrupt the program that I'm watching. And they play heck with signal reception, too.

Those aren't atheists, they are people who want money. A lot of those people claim Christianity.

Personally I'd rather expose my children to homosexuals as opposed to brainwashed fundies.

It's certainly obvious that Christians don't know much about education. I think we need more atheists and real scientists.

Christians don't know the difference between except and accept. They think that the human body is an object of shame just because they can't control their impulses enough to not get hot and bothered by a beautiful person.

I seriously doubt that most of those idiots doing stunts are atheists; they are more likely Christians.

Christians think that rainbows and homosexuals are bad. If they believe in God, then God created both. So many idiotic Christians think their Bible actually condemns homosexuality, but they are too ignorant of their own scripture to understand that it is only in the English translations, and not in the original tongues that homosexuality is spoken out against at all.

Christians like to take poor people's money, contrary to the word of Christ; they preach "prosperity comes from faith evidenced by the giving of money", yet these selfish preachers would never give a bit of aid to the poor people who go without food to dress them in expensive suits and such.

No, we need more reason on TV and less preachers. I certainly hope your children don't grow up with your bigotry and hatred.

I assume this is satire, but just in case...

OK...we'll make a deal with you.

Every time you see someone on TV doing one of the things you mention, we'll look up their religious beliefs. My bet is that at least nine out of ten of them will not be atheist. And probably at least five out of ten of them will be "Christian".

Care to take that bet?

It would be impossible to ban atheism on TV unless all we only had that stupid Christian channel (Which I think even the Christians find boring). How do you tell who is an atheist on TV? The whole premise sounds a bit Nazi to me.

There are channels devoted to Christianity and you oppose Atheists being on any channel once in a while. I seriously doubt that Jesus would approve of that attitude.

You better get used to it because more and more people are becoming atheists everyday. Wouldn't it just kill you if one day one of your children told you they were an atheist?

May I ask you a question? What makes you think that they are atheists? I'll put my money on it that they aren't atheists.
