My thoughts for you all are these:

Would like to be able to see who gives you a thumbs up or down?

Do you think it would cause even more hostility here in R & S?

Why CAN'T we see who is giving us thumbs???

It would be interesting to see --- like a sociological experiment, if nothing else --- but I think it probably would create more problems and certainly more animosity between members.

What I do think would encourage people to behave more decently, though, would be to make *who has reported you* for a violation accessible to the person receiving the violation. I think it would keep people from reporting for no reason. A reason why the question or answer got reported might be helpful, too. I mean I've had questions that were clearly just that --- questions --- reported for not being questions. More information than that would be good.

I usually know who has given me a thumbs down they are sure to send me an email telling me how I should leave my life with the Devil and repent my sinful ways. Oh and my avatar...that has some people emailing me for an S&M session....I think those ones like me. lol
1. I don't care to see who gives them. It tells me I hit a cord of some sort and as I am very nutrual it really doesn't bother me.
2. Naw most of the people who come here have a love/hate relationship...I don't think it would cause more hostility. I actually for the most part find it quite healthy. At least people can answer questions honestly. That is something most people who come here need to be able to do.
3. We can't see because the Yahoo! Gods don't want us to. They didn't put that in the programme. I think counting the "ups" or the "downs"...is redundant.
Peace to you.

Yes I would like to see that. (even though I give the thumbs down when deserved!)

Yes, but what is life all about.

Made to be that way!! Maybe so there isn't any hunting down and destroying of certain people. To spice things up on R&S!

Might be fun...I have no problem with it. I think if you are going to give a thumbs down, tnat you should give up points to doso as well.

I don't care about points, but there are those who do.

KC Superstar hit the nail on the head.
There is already enough hostility.
then it would just be back-biting from then on out if YA allowed to see who t.u or t.d.

To be honest, I couldn't give a damn. If people want to thumbs down me, go ahead, I give as good as I get. I f I see an answer I don't like, I give the thumbs down. That's what it's there for!!!

That would cause a lot of spite downs but it would make people more mature and honest.

I don't care if I see how gives them or not. I just think it's stupid to give thumbs down on questions like "Are you the same faith as your parents?" How stupid to give a thumbs down on that.

Probably.

Because it would cause more hostility? ^_^
