Depends if we're talking adults or teenagers.

The law where I live says that 16 or younger is a no-no for 18 years or older, so its fine for a 23 year old to date a 17 years because the law says its fine.

when it comes to age it should not matter. I met my husband when i was 14 and he was 34( I'm 22 now) when we got married it was in kansas because as long as a parnent approves the relationship kansas can not do anything about so each state is going to be different. colorado you can not be more then 8yrs apart. If you the two people love each other then i say go for it. I've met people that have 30yrs between each other.

depends, for young teenagers 2years is probobly the limit before it gets creepy, for olderish teens maybe 3 year limit, and for really old teens to early 20s maybe 4 years and if you're in your 20s prob just 8 or so years, you need to jude it yourself, usualy reletionships work out better if the girl is the younger one though sice guys take longer to mature, I personaly think 1 year older is the best because you're still very close in age and experience but you can still feel cute and little and he's probobly more developed ,mature, and taller, hope I helped

it depends on the phase of life you are in. A 2 year age gap between a 12 year old and a 14 year old is huge, but the same age gap at 18 and 20 is a much smaller and again at 30 and 32 there is no difference.

For me personally, I'm not attracted to anyone old enough to be my father or young enough for me to have given birth to. I prefer a maximum age gap of 7-10 years either way (older or younger), I have found that too much older or younger and we lose a lot of common ground and interest. eh, ask me again at 50, maybe I'll be dating a 30 year old.

Well it depends on what age you are...Example: If someone is like 13 and the other person if 18 that is a really big difference but if they are 30 and 35 then it is not. I;d say that if you are a teenager don't date anyone more than 2 years older than you.

hmmmmm........... well the happiest couple I ever knew was a lady of 40 and a man of 65. No-body seemed to think that was strange.
15 years between my mum and dad.
too big a age gap is only whan the person isn't mature enough to be in a relationship.

Age differences are only big problems in minors. Oher than that, it's just being careful. Before dating the 40 year old if you're 20, make sure he's not married.
