This is a weird question, I know, but I need to find out if I'm the loony one here.

My brother-in-law thinks it's fine to go without his pants or underwear when he's in his house. My sister thought it was kinda crude and trashy when he started it, but had to admit that it IS their house and it's private and nobody else is around. But one day he didn't know I was in the kitchen talking to her and he came out of the bedroom with only his T-shirt on and then he quickly covered his privates and told me not to be a perv and accused me of sneaking around his house. What the heck?!

So, is this normal behavior? I've heard of guys relaxing in their undershorts, but totally uncovered? Thoughts?

I think it's normal, although I myself don't like going around without panties, I do walk around topless in summer. That's just physical comfort, I don't think there's anything wrong about nudity in your own home. Nor would I be embarrassed if I saw someone if I'd been over. Non-sexual nudity is NOT bad AT ALL. The neighbor goes naked in his home all the time and has his curtains open, only a few neighbors have commented on it but it's no big deal.
I guess it's a cultural thing though, I'm in Europe and non-sexual nudity is far more accepted here, more nude beaches (for all ages), nudity (not sex!) doesn't get blanked out on prime-time tv, that kinda thing. If you're at home or even in the back yard where people can see you, no big deal.

Going Bottomless

I got bottomless, topless and nude in my home. My family and I don't have any issues with nudity. My friends know that if they come over there is a good chance they will see someone naked lol. Especially in the summer when my kids and their friends are skinny dipping in my pool. A person has the right to do what they want in their house and wear what they want to. I say there are more important things to worry about then whenever or not your neighbor or friend enjoys walking around nude or goes skinny dipping.

I had a neighbor who thought that she could go nude in her own house, that is until the neighbors had had enough and called the police and threatened her with indecent exposure. After that she made sure that all the curtains were closed!

I like walking around the house naked. I'm always fearful someone will be there that I'm not expecting. I think it's great though but I like that it's private.

My fiancee and I both walk around bottomless all the time. We keep pants by the door.

It of course would be your own choice, but if you go around like that, you should be aware if anyone else is in the home. Also sit on towels on any chairs or couches, for obvious reasons

It's not normal for me. But it's your private space so it's cool with me.

people go around in their underwear in their own homes when they are alone, all the time. that being said, going bottomless is so not ok, eww comeon, other people will have to sit down on the sofa too.
