Imagine a large office with about 65 cubicles all manned by workers on either side of a long walkway. Then imagine a 45 year old woman who walks around day after day sniffing and coughing. Then imagine that same woman 'borrowing' kleenex at every turn and proceeding to Blow her nose so loudly that you can hear here from one end of the building to the other.
THEN imagine her having the gall to throw her kleenex into the nearest trash can (not her own!)
How do we handle this?

Well shana, perhaps you have the same habit. and we are all "grown up" but you see, she also 'drops her snotty tissues OUTSIDE of other people's trash cans you silly.
She's nasty and for those of you who like the idea of leaving your desk only to come back and find a green smeared tissue NEXT to your trash can, then you are nasty also.
We've already decided that she needs her own little cubicle, next to a door that leads outside.
Some people are so nasty.

Does this woman have a cubicle of her own? If so, buy her a box of tissues and sweetly say 'I thought you might like these. Do you need anyone to get some cold remedy for you?' Perhaps she does'nt realise how annoying she is. I personally would rather spend a couple of pounds on tissues and cold remedy to keep her quiet, than keep putting up with it!

People have a need to clear their nasal passages and should not have to worry about what others think when they have to take care of their needs. The same applies to taking a dump--there is no shame in shaking the walls with loud noises emitting from the rectum when you are doing your business--it needs to get done and trying to silence it only causes more pain...

Oh grow up.

Just have someone put a box of tissues and a waste basket in her cubicle, and don't even think of complaining about the loud nose blowing, it's not like she can help it!

If she has to leave every time her nose is stuffed so she won't offend your sensitive little ears then she'll never get any work done.

Well, first off-those germs aren't gonna pole vault out the trash can so unless you're digging around in the trash it doesn't matter. Secondly, she obviously has a medical condition so nice way to show compassion. Third-if it bothers everyone go as a group to the supervisor and ask them to speak to her.

people get sick, not their fault

She can sneeze/cough/blow her nose wherever she wants to.

I would bring to her attention that her tissues are NOT making it to the trash can, and to please ensure her tissues are IN the trash can before leaving the area.

Other than that, deal with it.
