They are already cooked. Do not cook them again. The work has been done for you they are cooked and shelled you just have to leave them in the fridge until they defrost and they are ready to use. If you didn't intend to eat them cold, you can warm them up in another prepared dish but only put them in for the last 5 minutes to warm up as you don't want to overcook them.

Defrost them under cool water (takes about 10 minutes for a 2 lb bag). Add them toward the end of cooking since they only need to be heated (not cooked). Future reference, just buy frozen uncooked shrimp. Get split tail or ez peel. It will take you an extra 10 minutes to prepare, but the shrimp will be much better.

If they are pink, they are cooked. Also, the best way to warm them up is with cold water (sounds funny, but it works). Them cook them the way you are going to prepare them - like toss them in pasta. Just if you are going to cook them again, add them last so that they don't get too chewy.

Yes, but it will only take a very short period of time. The minute they change color, take them out.

Heat and serve. Don't steam them too long, there is nothing worse than overcooked shrimp.
