down at the beginning of Main Street USA kind of in front of the roundabout is a great straight forward view, but anywhere on Main street is good and even almost anywhere in the park is okay! Go get a seat fairly early though on Main St. cuz it gets pretty crowded. Have fun!

The fireworks at Disneyland are best viewed somewhere in front of the castle. There are many things happening on the ground that you cannot see from outside the park.
