How do I get My Slim PS2 Online?

I have tryed to get it online but it will not work it says the connection has failed, also at my last house it worked as i put my internet cord from my PC to my PS2 and it worked, but now i do the same thing and it says the internet connection does not work. Please somebody help me i really want to play online.Thank You
